Overview


Flow cytometry is a widely used method for analyzing the expression of cell surface and intracellular molecules, characterizing and defining different cell types in a heterogeneous cell population, assessing the purity of isolated subpopulations and analyzing cell size and volume. It allows simultaneous multi-parameter analysis of single cells.

    Graham Pockley & Ian Dimmick

    Graham Pockley is currently the Associate Director of the John van Geest Cancer Research Centre at Nottingham Trent University. His research is focused on immunoregulatory mechanisms in health and disease.

    Ian Dimmick began his career in a clinical setting, and has worked in various research posts using flow cytometry as a diagnostic and research tool, primarily for HIV, leukemia, lymphoma and a broad range of immunological testing.
