This Restricted User Statement applies to Abcam products (“Products”) purchased through Fisher Scientific.

In this Restricted User Statement, reference to "you" means you, the person (or the business on whose behalf such person is acting) purchasing the Products through Fisher Scientific.

1. The Product(s) is for “Research Use Only,” is labelled for “Research Use Only,” and you agree to use such Product(s) in accordance with such labelling and not for diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.

2. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Product(s) for your own internal research. You shall not attempt to use the Product(s) for: (i) any commercial purposes; (ii) validation, verification or other quality control testing purposes involving your product and/or products of a third party; (iii) resale or transfer (including as part of a kit) to a third party of any Product (or any product incorporating any Product); (iv) any analysis or reverse engineering of the Product(s) (or any portion of the Product(s)); and/or (v) the provision of services to a third party.

3. Product(s) (the definition of which, for the purposes of this subsection 3., includes any progeny, modifications, improvements or derivatives of the Product(s)) that are identified as part of Abcam’s knock-out cell line portfolio are sold for research use only and not for diagnostic or therapeutic procedures. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Product(s) for your own internal research, development or educational projects save that: (i) in respect of any control we supply with a Product (such as a lysate of the relevant parental cell with a knock out cell line) use is limited to use only to validate the relevant Product; and (ii) for any Product(s) that includes or incorporates a CRISPR/Cas9 modified cell line, we only grant to you the right to use such Product(s) in accordance with the limited use licenses at https://www.abcam.com/en-us/legal/limited-use-licenses.
