Before the course starts: information on a range of basics to get your ready for the start of the course.
Week one: choosing your antibody. Find out what to look for, get our conjugated secondaries selection guide and learn how to compare different dyes.
Week two: protocols. See how to perform ICC, learn about ICC and IHC methods to get specific multicolour staining and optimize your experiment with our IHC protocol.
Week three: troubleshooting. Get the answers to common ICC and IHC issues, including poor signal and high background.
Week four: test your knowledge. Catch-up on any course material you may have missed and take our quiz!

5. The opening date for entries is 9am GMT on 30 July 2017. The closing date of the prize draw is 11.59pm GMT on 31 October 2017. Entries received after this time will not be accepted.
6. Abcam accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.
7. Applications automatically generated by computer will be disqualified.
8. Five winners will be chosen by a random draw on 1 November 2017 (“Draw Date”).
9. Each winner will receive a prize of goodies including t-shirt, mug and pen. The prize is restricted to one prize per winner.
10. The winner will be notified by email or telephone (using details provided at entry) before 10 November 2017 and must provide a postal address to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond to Abcam within 24 hours of being notified by Abcam, then the winner's prize will be forfeited and Abcam will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
11. The prize may not be claimed by a third party on a winner’s behalf. If a winner needs to withdraw for any reason, another winner will be selected.
12. The winner of the competition will be announced on social media by 10 November 2017.
13. The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable and no cash alternative is offered.
14. The decision of Abcam regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
15. The winner's name and country can be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope to Ana Pires, Abcam plc, Unit 200 Cambridge Science Park, Cambridge CB4 0FL, UK OR an email to ana.pires@abcam.com within seven (7) days after the date of the closing date of the prize draw.

18. Abcam reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
19. Insofar as is permitted by law, Abcam, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Abcam, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
20. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion may be passed on to third party suppliers only insofar as required for fulfilment/delivery/arrangement of the prize.
21. The prize draw will be governed by New York law and entrants to the prize draw agree to submit to binding arbitration to resolve any disputes relating to the promotion.
22. The prize will be sent to the winner by Abcam by post.
